Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leadership: Guide accounting personnel in daily tasks.
• Financial Analysis: Review financial data to make re-forecasting decisions.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial scorecards and dashboards for senior leadership and preparation of GAAP financial reporting.
• Strategic Communication: Liaise with finance department regarding financial strategies & policies.
• Compliance: Ensure financial procedures, records, and statements comply with laws & regulations.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation for external auditors annually.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly for accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Preparation of monthly journal entries: Assist finance team by proposing monthly closing entries and updating general ledger.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Accounting Knowledge: Proficient in GAAP and SFAS rules.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial information and pay attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with financial software and Microsoft Office.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is typically required.
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in accounting/finance.
