As Supplier EDI Analyst, you’ll implement electronic transaction sets with trading partners to improve Dot’s operational efficiencies.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with Dot’s business partners to implement electronic business transactions (EDI)
- Participate in meetings with trading partners to explain Dot's EDI capabilities and requirements
- Provide education and ongoing support on electronic business transactions for trading partners and Dot internal departments
- Configure and maintain partner agreements and communications utilizing AS2 & SFTP protocols
- Work proactively with internal departments to increase utilization of electronic transactions to create efficiencies by automating their workflow
- Analyze data and create reporting to communicate progress on strategic initiatives and goals to all levels of the company
- Assist with planning and execution of large-scale EDI software conversion and migration of maps and trading partners
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Proven success at meeting goals and deadlines
- Microsoft Excel experience
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- CIS, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or related degrees
- Understanding of EDI standards (EDI X12)
- Understanding of AS2 and SFTP communication protocols
- Experience with SEEBURGER integration software
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Travel – Occasional overnight travel for internal trainings and meetings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
- Schedule – ability to work flexible hours; may include evening & weekend hours as needed
