Project Engineer II – Electrical
The Project Engineer II supports various functions related to construction management within the electrical construction industry. Projects may involve work for federal, state, and municipal clients across the U.S. This role assists in preparing plans, specifications, and provides project support to senior management professionals.

Essential Functions
- Interpret and update construction drawings as specifications evolve
- Maintain accurate As-Built drawings for project handover
- Interpret issues in the field and submit RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Assist in reviewing plans, creating checklists for key contract features
- Manage subcontractor and vendor agreements, and track related activities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, tracking change orders, and maintaining accurate project records
- Support project scheduling, including statements of work, submittals, and reports
- Track and procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment
- Promote and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Inspect equipment, materials, and finished work to meet quality standards
- Prepare and submit closeout documentation and As-Built drawings as per contract requirements
- Additional duties as assigned
- Perform essential functions in designated office or field locations
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
- Comply with company Code of Conduct and industry standards
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial electrical or general construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field; a combination of education and experience considered
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate or higher-level knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Operational knowledge of Bluebeam
