We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial Electrician to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. Your contributions will ensure that our projects meet all safety codes, standards, and customer specifications, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Installation & Maintenance: Assist in the assembly and upkeep of electrical systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety standards.
- Schematic and Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings with precision, ensuring accurate and efficient assembly.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose electrical issues on-site or remotely, offering timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Safety First: Prioritize the safety of all team members by adhering to industry safety standards and ensuring all work is carried out with the latest tools and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, sales teams, and customers to deliver high-quality projects.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of industrial electrician experience, including knowledge of low voltage AC & DC circuits, 480 VAC 3-phase voltage, VFDs, PLCs, motors, and generators.
- Education: A 2- or 4-year degree in Electrical & Mechanical Technology or Electrical/Industrial Engineering is advantageous but not required.
- Manufacturing Background: Experience in industrial manufacturing is a plus.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Exposure to diesel mechanics and willingness to learn mechanical aspects such as gearboxes and diesel engines is beneficial.
- Work Ethic: A strong, positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork are highly valued.
- Desire to Learn: Willingness to adopt new skills and embrace emerging technologies in the industry.
- License: A valid driver’s license is required to access various customer facilities.
