JOB SUMMARY
The Direct Support Professional plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for able-bodied individuals with disabilities and those requiring support. This position involves providing personalized care and assistance to individuals in their daily activities, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in community events. You will be responsible for fostering a safe and supportive environment, ensuring that the individuals you support are treated with dignity and respect. REQUIREMENTS
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check
*Must be 18 years of age due to State of Oregon requirement.
*Must have government issued ID.
*Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certificate.

*Prior experience in a direct support or caregiving role; Training provided for the right candidate
JOB DUTIES
*Transport clients to appointments, community events, and activities.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
*Implement individualized care plans and address specific needs and goals.
*Administer medications and assist with appointments as needed.
*Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance well-being.
*Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing and meal preparation.
*Collaborate with healthcare professionals, staff and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
HOURS
*Full Time and Part Time available.
PAY
*$18.00-$22.00; Depending on experience and qualifications
LOCATION
*Cascade Locks, Oregon
