Stable manufacturing company in Wheeling seeks a Customer Support Representative. Candidates must have a B2B manufacturing background.
This position is responsible for developing and nurturing customer relationships while creating awareness of the company's full range of products and services. Individuals in this role are the front-line ambassadors for the company and will with a diverse audience to deliver the highest standard of customer support.
Job Duties
- Learn and understand the company's full product line and how they are sold and marketed.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to/from retailers, OEMs, distributor partners, and the general public.
- Consistently meet daily customer contact goals, communicating both over the phone and via email.
- Navigate Salesforce.com to look up customer information and complete or update account profiles.
- Communicate accurate product and sample information including specifications, inventory levels, availability, and pricing.
- Maintain a dedication to customer satisfaction by owning customer issues and seeing them through to resolution.
- Process marketing sample orders quickly and accurately.
- Support Marketing and Sales efforts through targeted calling campaigns for special promotions as needed.
- Assist Regional Sales team by placing orders, qualifying customers, pulling reports, and supporting pre-sale opportunities as needed.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B customer service or sales support role
- Experience within an inbound and outbound call setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- High level of dependability and professionalism
- Energetic, goal-oriented self-starter
- Salesforce.com or JD Edwards experience a plus
