Position: Manager, IaaS Delivery
Location: Cary, NC, hybrid(onsite days/week flexible)

Compensation: 150-180k target base + bonus, negotiable
Summary:
As Manager, IaaS Delivery, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of remote infrastructure services to a well known financial institution. You will manage a global team across the US, UK, and India, ensuring operational excellence, meeting SLAs, and driving client satisfaction. This role involves overseeing day-to-day service delivery, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating closely with executive stakeholders to align the service strategy with the client's evolving needs.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring the client’s infrastructure remains secure, stable, and scalable. You’ll manage a team of 12 engineers, provide mentorship, and drive a culture of continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on security (ISO27001) and innovation. This role also requires close involvement with business development and growth initiatives related to the client account.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead global service delivery for a Fortune 50 financial services client, ensuring infrastructure support is of the highest quality and meets 95%+ adherence to SLAs.
- Drive client satisfaction by maintaining KPIs, conducting monthly performance reviews with senior executives, and addressing challenges proactively.
- Manage a global team of 12 engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration across different time zones and regions (US, UK, India).
- Ensure security compliance, focusing on system hardening, patch management, and ongoing threat mitigation, in collaboration with the client’s Chief Security Officer.
- Innovate continuously by building a service roadmap that aligns with the client's needs, driving technology improvements, and ensuring the infrastructure remains scalable and efficient.
- Support business development, identifying and managing 3-5 new service opportunities per year within the client’s infrastructure environment, helping to grow the scope of services.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as technology strategy and security teams, ensuring service alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Control delivery budgets, ensuring that services are provided within the agreed cost structure and achieving operational efficiency.
- Mentor and develop your team, creating individual development plans, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team culture.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead a team of 10+ engineers, preferably across multiple time zones and regions, with at least 5 years in a senior service delivery leadership role.
- Managed Services Expertise: Extensive experience as a Senior Delivery Manager within a Managed Services Provider (MSP), specifically in client-facing roles for large-scale, mission-critical clients.
- Financial Services Experience: Deep understanding of delivering services to financial services clients, including the regulatory and security requirements unique to the industry.
- Infrastructure & Security Knowledge: Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with strong knowledge of cloud environments, system hardening, and ISO27001 security standards.
- Client Management: Strong track record of managing senior client relationships in a Fortune 500 context, with a focus on ensuring high satisfaction, resolving escalations, and proactively identifying new opportunities.
- ITIL Framework: Proficient in ITIL methodologies, particularly in service operations, continual service improvement, and service design.
- Business Development: Experience in identifying and growing service opportunities within an existing client account, contributing to business development and revenue growth.
