Job Overview:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front of House, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and managing a high-performing team. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and ownership to maintain our standards of service, optimize profitability, and cultivate a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training.
- Ensure excellent customer service and uphold the restaurant’s luxury standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to curate seasonal menus and innovative dining experiences.
- Monitor guest feedback and respond promptly to address concerns or special requests.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Manage reservations and coordinate private dining or special events.
- Drive marketing and community engagement initiatives to attract and retain clientele.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations and support their professional growth.
- Work closely with ownership to meet financial goals and budget targets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
- Knowledge of high-end food and beverage trends, menu development, and wine pairings.
- Proficient in restaurant management software (POS systems, reservation platforms, etc.).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
