Company in the 77053-area looking to add a Production Supervisor to the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees and coaches team members
- Organizes workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Communicates with sales to prioritize shipments
- Ensures all safety and health standards are met
- Maintains effective communication at all levels
- Establishes a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
- Develops workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
- Maintains and Approves timecards
- Evaluates and completes performance reviews
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 5-Years of experience as a hands-on production manager
- Work history that demonstrates the ability to provide leadership to production teams
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and multi-taking abilities
- Proven record in training team members about safety and production
- Strong working knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations
- Ability to coach and motivate team members
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Composites experience a plus
EDUCATION:
- College Degree preferred. High school diploma required.
