Must Haves:
- 10 years of heavy control experience in HVAC
- Experience with modeling for chilled water and hot water, as well as testing and balancing
- Programming experience on a Siemans-based Building Automation System - Desigo or Apogee preferred
- Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) experience

Insight Global is seeking a An Instrument & Control Technician at a hospital in Birmingham, AL. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Building Automation System (BAS), performing annual room testing, and collaborating with senior-level HVAC technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- BAS Monitoring: Regularly scour the Building Automation System (BAS) to identify and address issues as they arise, ensuring optimal performance of all integrated systems.
- Annual Room Testing: Conduct comprehensive annual testing of areas in hospital (OR, etc.) to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- System Oversight: Oversee and maintain all aspects of the BAS, including HVAC, water, and lighting systems, to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
- HVAC Collaboration: Work closely with senior-level HVAC technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on all control systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of hospital assets.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
