Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee multiple projects at our structural steel fabrication shop in Tampa. The Project Manager will manage project timelines, budgets, quality standards, safety protocols, and communication with clients, vendors, and team members. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex projects from initiation to completion, prioritizing safe and timely delivery within scope and budget, while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication Management
- Maintain proactive and positive communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Provide project status updates, earned value metrics, and manage schedules and change orders.
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering clear communication on project status and addressing any issues diplomatically.
2. Resource and Configuration Management
- Create and adapt project work plans to meet changing project requirements and resource availability.
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Monitor work activity, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with company policies and project objectives.
3. Coordination & Liaison
- Support business development by sharing relevant project information and identifying additional opportunities.
- Promote effective communication across teams to ensure project success.
4. Technical Competency & Development
- Commit to ongoing professional and technical development to maintain competency.
- Collaborate with the Director of Project Management on personal training and development plans.
Additional Responsibilities:
- May perform additional duties to support overall company operations as required.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- 10 years of project management experience in steel fabrication or construction (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven background in managing processes, coaching, production planning, and process improvement.
