Duties
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members and individuals with less environmental background.
- Conduct onsite environmental, safety, and health projects.
- Execute environmental projects including lead exposure assessments, stormwater sampling, and visual smoke emissions.
- Conduct EHS compliance audits for manufacturing or construction clients.
- Perform Industrial Hygiene Sampling and deliver detailed reports.
- Provide onsite environmental staffing support.
- Design and deliver EHS training programs, such as HAZWOPER, RCRA, fall protection, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, CPR/1st Aid.
- Elevate department and organizational reputation by embracing new challenges and adding value to job accomplishments.
Skills / Qualifications
- Proficient in EPA Regulations, 40CFR, 29CFR 1910, and 29CFR 1926
- Method 9 Visual Opacity certification
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Experience in multi-employer environments
- Problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
- Research and innovation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
