Job Description:
The Legal Secretary will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the firm by managing legal documents and providing essential administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and paralegals by performing tasks as directed.
- Draft and prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and contracts.
- Manage clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, handling phone inquiries, and composing routine communications.
- Organize and maintain files, manage incoming mail, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support trial preparation, document production, and other administrative needs.
- Maintain up-to-date client information and assist with billing processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer and research skills.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
