Our client is seeking to hire a CFO/VP of Finance.
This role is based in the Charlotte, NC region. No relocation assistance is offered.
This role is hybrid, working 3 days per week in the office.
Must have extensive experience leading finance teams in middle-market businesses.
The Role
- Report directly to the CEO
- Oversee all financial functions: financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, M&A, tax and insurance.
- Prepare analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reviews.
- Maintain strong controls and reporting environment.
- Drive the enhancement of KPIs and tools that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate and build trust with all members of the executive leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Minimum 10 years in leadership roles.
- CPA or MBA is ideal.
Skills and Capabilities
- Experience creating proforma financial projects for M&A.
- Experience preparing reporting packages for Boards.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability of delivering accurate results.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay steady under pressure.
