We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in designing scalable and sustainable software solutions. The role focuses on translating complex business requirements into efficient software architectures, utilizing Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure alignment with the business domain. As a Portfolio Architect, you will work closely with product teams, ensuring adherence to Enterprise Architecture standards and best practices while guiding teams such as Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Cyber Security, and Platform teams in making informed architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead collaboration with Product Teams and Architects to design scalable, maintainable, and adaptable software systems that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure a common understanding of detailed requirements and technical deliverables.
- Document current architecture and develop future-state portfolio architectures that integrate multiple solutions across the organization.
- Assess existing solutions and identify gaps in relation to architectural standards.
- Coordinate multi-system solutions, clarifying interdependencies to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide leadership in defining and implementing strategies and roadmaps that align with the overall IT Enterprise Architecture vision.
- Lead discussions on emerging technologies and propose modernization strategies for critical business-enabling systems.
- Establish and maintain best practices for technology lifecycle management.
- Contribute to additional projects and tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT fields (or equivalent experience). A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Archimate, Cloud Architecture).
- 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in architecting complex IT solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in architectural practice.
- Proven expertise in designing enterprise systems and business applications using established standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modeling tools (e.g., Archimate, LeanIX).
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding of directory services (AD, LDAP), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and federation concepts (SAML, OAUTH, OIDC).
- Proficiency in API-first and event-driven architectures (e.g., Apigee, Kafka).
- Experience with Order-to-Cash, Supply Chain, and Transportation processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong skills in conflict resolution, persuasion, and negotiation.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work at designated locations based on the position’s requirements.
