The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Driver Recruiting Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Verifying the employment of applicants via fax, phone or other required online tools
- Running MVR and DAC and other background reports of applicants
- Verifying accuracy of information on driver applications
- Weekly audits of drivers files to meet DOT requirements
- Heavy data entry of driver applications
- Other administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree in business preferred and/or equivalent work experience
- At least one year of administrative support experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
- Internet savvy – ability to search/research for information as necessary
- Excellent typing and data entry skills required
- Ability to plan and organize, attention to detail, problem-solving skills
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Must have the ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
- Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality
