What will your day look like? As a Senior IT Project Manager you will:
- Lead the digital transformation of HR and financial systems. This includes end to end project management for the upgrade, implementation, and consolidation of HR and financial systems. Manage timelines, budgets, project scope, and deliverables.
- Oversee projects related to HR systems, such as payroll, recruiting, HRIS, as well as financial systems, such as Billing, AP, ERP, etc. Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing business operations and seamless integration.
- Identify areas for optimization and automation.
- Manage projects related to data reporting and data warehousing, ensuring all data is accurate, consolidated, and accessible for decision makers. Improve reporting standards and data governance.
- Execute and develop change management plans to support process improvements and system implementations. Identify risks and mitigate as needed to minimize impact.
- Work closely with IT, HR, finance, and other stakeholders to prioritize projects, gather requirements, and manage expectations. Facilitate project status updates and address issues as they arise.
- Ensure alignment with business goals and track project performance using key metrics. Report on timelines, project status, and outcomes to senior leadership.
You will be a good fit for the Senior IT Project Manager role if you have:
- 7 plus years of related experience in IT project management with a focus on HR systems and financial systems
- Strong background in finance process improvement and transformation, including in AP, GL, fixed assets, financial planning, close management, and AR and billing.
- Knowledge of HR best practices with experience improving HR processes, including in planning, hiring, compensation management, and data management.
- Experience in managing data governance, data warehousing projects, and reporting.
- Strong leadership skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, business, or related field
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi task and handle multiple projects simultaneously, using different methodologies as appropriate
- Proven expertise with integrations, enhancements, and system implementations as they relate to finance and HR business processes.
