Must go once a quarter onsite for 5 days in Elmsford, NY
Responsibilities:
- Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settings.
- Provide go-live and rollout support
- Interface with users/clients across the company. Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality
- Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate company IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification
- Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users:
- Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements
- Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solution
- Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system
- Create system specifications from user requirements
- Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications
- Document all outcomes of testing
- Write and maintain accurate and current documentation regarding application(s) supported by the team. Participate in the maintenance of training materials and disseminate materials to users.
- Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support.
- Assist Application Analysts and other team members as necessary. Encourage, assist, and foster development of co-workers' skills and proficiency
- Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring
- Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
- On an as-needed basis, provide on-site support within the company hospitals and/or its' affiliates (on-site, rotational support)
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience
- Must have experience with at least one full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ERP implementation, ideally, with the INFOR ERP Solution
- Application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
- Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
