Title: IT System Analyst
Department: IT
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Responsibilities:
- Assists with supporting, testing and troubleshooting the company’s network, server, phone and general IT systems infrastructure
- Backs up the Associate IT Manager for all Install/Move/Add/Change requests, including on-boarding of new hires and off-boarding of separated employees
- Responds in a timely manner to incidents and requests submitted by end-users and assigned by management
- Analyze and route issues into the proper ticketing systems and update and close tickets in a timely manner
- Maintain System security including Threat Management, intrusion detection, and patching.
- Maintain Cloud Infrastructure – AWS.
- Assists with leading compliance measures relating to HIPAA
- Assists with additional IT projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer-related field required with 1-3+ years of experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Help desk experience required
- AWS Experience required
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
- Able to install, configure and maintain computers, networks and related hardware and software
- Able to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
- Proficient with Linux CLI, Ubuntu/CentOS
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365
- Scripting experience preferred (Powershell/Bash)
