JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Patient Access Representative position in the Radiology Department with a healthcare client in West Chester, NY. The position requires an individual with experience in high call volume environments who display excellent customer service to assist in registration and scheduling.
- Patient Access Representatives must be comfortable fielding 300+ calls per day on average.
- This role assists patients and providers by supporting the coordination of care process across department lines.
- The Patient Access Representative provides a range of services required to complete the registration activities of scheduled and walk-in patients seeking services in a variety of hospital inpatient, and outpatient settings including but not limited to the emergency room, diagnostic testing and procedures, and admissions to nursing units. Assist patients from time of presenting for care until hand-off to clinical staff for services.
