Provide guidance on business processes related to Transmission’s portfolio scheduling, Project Management Office (PMO) initiatives, and other Project Controls functions. Responsible for developing and maintaining resource loaded schedules that support the project manager’s projects. The project schedule is used as a key communication tool for the project team. Serve as scheduling liaison between Transmission and other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop resource loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, designers, estimators, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through engineering and construction to ensure project schedules accurately reflect the individual project scope of work, responsibilities, construction sequencing, outage requirements, and the project in service date.
- Provides support and guidance to ensure the baseline schedule submission is timely, complete, accurate, and in compliance with standard company procedures and the contract.
- Prepare detailed schedule reports as required (i.e. critical path view, baseline vs. actual view, look ahead view, milestone view, “what-if" scenarios, etc.).
- Develop and maintain process to integrate Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling with estimating and cost accounting programs.
- Manage the Operational Technology (OT) for Primavera P6 licenses and hosting services.
- Responsible for reporting on predetermined program level Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Assist in development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and help ensure project coding is effectively used for all cornerstone applications.
- Responsible for understanding that market and regional information are a part of project schedules such as: seasonal weather patterns, materials markets, labor forces and other factors that may impact each project schedule.
- Develop standard and custom graphs and charts for project personnel to manage the project.
- Adhere to and demonstrate compliance with appropriate electric utility industry regulatory requirements. Attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of development in regulations, laws, standards and best practices applicable to the functional area including, but not limited to, Standards of Conduct, Environmental, Employment Law, North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standards and Safety. Must be familiar with, and comply with, all aspects of Corporate Policy C-54, Compliance.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help Transmission PMO on teams involved with documenting, standardizing, and promoting continual process improvements and learning across the Transmission business unit.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience as included in the Experience section listed below.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Knowledge of Project Controls best practices.
- 2 to 4 years of experience with Primavera P6, scheduling techniques, and resource forecasting and reporting.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite, expert knowledge in Excel.
- Ability/Aptitude to stay current with enterprise software.
- Excellent written and verbal communications, including correspondence, reports, and other business documents.
- Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships that result in influence without authority.
