Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repair, capable of efficiently handling various tasks. This role is vital for maintaining the functionality and appearance of our properties, contributing to our high-quality service goals.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, addressing issues or repairs.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshoot equipment and systems to maintain functionality.
- Small engine maintenance.
- Perform general handyman tasks such as painting, carpentry, and minor renovations.
- Perform Landscaping, mulching, trimming trees and bushes.
- Identify and address potential hazards, safety concerns, or code violations.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and comply with safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in facilities management.
- Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical.
- Proficient in performing various maintenance tasks.
- Effective troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Demands and Capability – Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to push, carry, lift, and pull objects, and bend, squat, crawl, and climb repeatedly.
- Ability to work while standing, sitting, or lying down.
- Maneuverability in tight spaces.
- Capability of operating various machinery and equipment.
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Specific vision abilities, including focus adjustment and color differentiation.
- Ability to perform small repairs including wood, plumbing, grounds care, and changing light bulbs.

Salary: $21-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
