An experienced surety underwriter is sought in Miami for this excellent reinsurance business.
Working closely with the group head of guarantee business and the head of the Miami office, you will play a key role in an established but growing contract surety book.
You will be responsible for conducting new and renewal business, helping to further develop the portfolio across the LatAm market particularly. There will be an active role in marketing the company's offering to brokers and insurance clients at meetings and industry events.
In addition, you will analyze the current business by performing underwriting reviews, and conducting portfolio management duties and monitoring exposure.
To be successful in this role, you will bring significant contract surety (direct or reinsurance) underwriting experience on LatAm risks as well as strong client relationship skills. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
