Engineering Manager (React/Node/Typescript) (Hybrid in NY), Between $200,000-270,000 (depending on experience)
An extremely successful, high-growth scale-up based in New York is looking for an Engineering Manager (Principal Engineer) to add to the existing talented Engineering team. This is a really exciting opportunity to join at a period of growth due to a number of new product and feature launches and therefore we are looking to bolster the squads with a number of Engineers focused on the JavaScript/Typescript ecosystem (though other technologies are open).
The company are dominating their market in the Fintech space and revolutionizing the investment industry, working with a number of high profile clients. The roles range from Software Engineer through to Staff level, though all hands on, and will be focused on building the organization’s core offering, building out new offerings and enabling technology focused on investment platforms and AI.
As an Engineering Manager you will have the chance to work in a fast-paced and forward thinking organization with a huge and friendly team comradery.
Offering between $200,000-270,000 (depending on experience) + equity and many other benefits
In return for:
- 6+ years’ experience in software engineering and at least 2 as an Engineering Manager. They are also hiring for Senior/Staff/Principal Engineers where just 6+ years' experience is fine.
- Tech stack focused on React, Node, JavaScript, Typescript, AI, Python, GraphQL, AWS Please note we are also open to other technologies as long as you have worked with some of the above
- Full stack engineers are preferred but very open to candidates who are more heavily weighted towards front or back end
- Interest in fintech/finance/investment or AI is a big bonus
- Ability to work on projects that are high impact and able to get involved in discussions that drive the growth and direction of the platform
- Confident working on work that is a strong product market fit and be a product minded engineer
- Computer science, Engineering, Maths or related degree
