Vaccine Production Technicians – Lenexa, KS

We currently have direct hire Vaccine Production Technician positions in Lenexa, Kansas. This is a full-time position where you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K; as well as paid time off-- including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.

Pay rate:
$21/hr plus additional $2/hr on weekends
Career Progression:
6 months eligible for 5% pay increase
12 months eligible for 5% increase
18 months eligible for 10% increase
Additional annual performance review wage increase opportunities

Wed-Sun 5:30am - 2:00pm OR
Wed-Sun 9:00am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Prepare growth medium to be used during vaccine production.
- Cell and viral culturing, which is harvested, batched, filled into ampoules.
- Procedures take place under a Grade A Laminar Air Flow hood in a clean room environment.
- All laboratory processes must be performed aseptically.
- Requires daily gowning with sterile hooded coveralls, goggles, face masks, two pairs of gloves, and clean room boot coverings.
- The ability to understand and follow Production and Lab SOPs/Work Instructions.
- All procedures must be thoroughly documented.
- Work closely with other technicians.
Qualifications:
- Education in a related field, preferred but not required.
- Lab or clean room manufacturing experience, beneficial but not required.
- Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.
- Squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills all required.
