Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of mid-rise construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, managing project budgets and schedules, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget. Establish clear objectives and milestones for each project.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and manage contracts.
- Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure timely completion of all project phases.
- Quality Control: Ensure all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and building codes. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Team Coordination: Lead and motivate project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and suppliers. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns. Provide regular updates on project progress and manage client expectations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during the construction process. Develop solutions to minimize disruptions and keep the project on track.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience managing residential construction projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
