Position Summary:
Responsible for carrying out a range of production line and material handling tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role involves achieving standard production rates, maintaining compliance with safety and company policies, and accurately documenting work according to batch records and official procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect components, materials, and products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards.
- Execute tasks outlined in batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Sample and evaluate products, notify supervisors if action levels are exceeded, and identify non-conforming products.
- Perform lot changes, line clearances, and cleaning operations, documenting all steps.
- Contribute to achieving labor standards and work collaboratively in a team environment to meet production goals.
- Participate in area improvement initiatives, cost reductions, and team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOPs, and plant policies.
- Assist with material disposition outside as needed and adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting and minor adjustments.
Ability to pass a GMP test and obtain necessary area certifications.
