VP Technology
Our client is an industry-leading data science and SaaS company in Maryland that has recently entered a phase of rapid growth. This organization is now seeking their first-ever VP Technology to oversee a team of 11 technologists across engineering and data science. A VP with strong architecture understanding will be needed to optimize the performance of our client’s rapidly scaling SaaS product and user base.
The VP must be onsite in the Maryland office 2-4 days a week. Relocation is not offered for this role.
Job functions:
- Assess, develop, and hire talent in a lean technology organization.
- Optimize performance of the platform for scale.
- Collaborate with and serve as a key member of the executive team in setting strategy to achieve growth goals.
Requirements:
- Proven success in scaling a SaaS product for a fast-growth small to midsize organization.
- Strong data science and machine learning expertise.
- Highly skilled in architecture.
- Player/coach with excellence in team leadership and talent development.
- AWS expertise required.
- Rust experience strongly preferred.
- Fintech experience is a plus.
