Audit Partner (Hybrid 3 days in office) - Mid-size CPA firm located in Anaheim, CA
Brewer Morris is currently working with a Mid-size 80+ employee CPA firm in Anaheim, CA that is seeking a hybrid Audit Partner that will be in office 3 days/week. This is a Non-equity Partner position (upward mobility to become equity Partner) that will focus on Private clients within Manufacturing, Distribution, Real Estate, Non-Profit, Agriculture, etc. The candidate must be involved with marketing, gain new clients, and training staff.
Responsibilities
• Possess a well-rounded experience in the areas of accounting and auditing.
• Be able to recognize potential tax issues both at the individual and company level.
• Represent the firm brand to your fullest potential to clients and prospects in the marketplace.
• Assist in developing business plans and the implementation of those plans.
• Develop and execute the Firm strategy to drive growth.
• Duties will include concurring or other technical involvement on Firm’s A & A quality control programs.
• Attract, develop and retain talent.
• Ensure the continuous professional development of staff is being met.
• Travel as needed.
Hours
• Working hours in the busy season: 45 to 60 hours max
• Non-busy season: 40 hours
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
• CPA certification
• Minimum of 15+ years of relevant professional experience in public accounting with a regional or large local CPA firm
• 5 years of leadership/management experience
