MIGSO-PCUBED is looking for a passionate and communicative Project Planner Consultant to join our team and support our engagements in North Carolina. This position is on-site and will require you to commute to our client sites in the Kinston area.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Planner with a background in construction, engineering, supply chain, or aerospace. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. The Project Planner will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain project schedules, manage resources, and track project progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules using software tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to establish timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and work with the team to implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain resource plans, allocating and forecasting resources to optimize project outcomes.
- Track project performance to ensure schedules align with project goals and budgets.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process improvements to enhance planning and scheduling efficiency.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and available to stakeholders.
- Prepare and facilitate planning and scheduling meetings, coordinating with various departments to gather and disseminate information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling, preferably in construction, engineering, supply chain, or aerospace industries.
- Proficiency in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with resource allocation, risk assessment, and budgeting practices.
- Working on client site 5 days/week in the Greater Kinston Area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
MIGSO-PCUBED believes in fair and equitable compensation. The reasonable estimate of the current total compensatory salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 DOE annually. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in an annual performance-based incentive program. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
