Salary: $120- $135K per annum
The Role
Responsibilities:
Architect and design scalable, high-performance Java applications, for specific back-end tasks and data processing.
Lead a team of Java developers in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level Java applications.
Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to integrate Java applications with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar platforms.
Lead the implementation of Java-based microservices and APIs, leveraging Python for specific data processing and integration requirements.
Define and enforce software development best practices, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, testing, and operations, to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
Participate in architectural discussions, technical reviews, and provide recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
Continuously challenge and evolve the existing platform capabilities and keep up to date with new offerings.
Requirements
You are:
Senior Solution Architect preferably with Commercial Lending Origination exposure. Full Stack knowledge with Java, Angular, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Java developer with leadership responsibilities
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks, with a focus on building scalable and high-performing systems.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
