Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect 3 to lead the technical roadmap and architecture of a large-scale Grants Management System (GMS) implemented on the Salesforce platform. This role will focus on ensuring the solution adheres to best practices, prioritizes low-code solutions, and integrates seamlessly with third-party technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage their Salesforce expertise and technical leadership to design and oversee the integration, security, and performance of the GMS application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate complex business requirements into robust systems, applications, and process designs, with a focus on scalable and financially sound technical solutions.
- Design and document service solutions that meet the client’s objectives, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, constructing solutions that encompass technology, staffing, and process plans for complex sales opportunities.
- Build risk assessments and remediation strategies for service proposals, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Prepare Statements of Work and other deliverables, detailing processes, technology, staffing, and project management aspects of proposed solutions.
- Offer expert advice on technical services to both internal and external clients, ranging from consultative guidance to formal presentations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee the technical roadmap of the GMS application on Salesforce, focusing on integration, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to low-code approaches, leveraging third-party solutions when appropriate.
- Provide oversight for troubleshooting and problem-solving on software and hardware incidents.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise and software engineering using frameworks such as SEI or TOGAF, including the creation of architecture views, documenting non-functional requirements, and performing implementation oversight.
- 8+ years as an Enterprise or Software Architect for Salesforce-based systems, with experience integrating data, applications, services, and technologies, including non-Salesforce applications through REST APIs.
- 8+ years in managing and supporting Salesforce Orgs and environments, implementing security policies, and enhancing practices.
- Expertise in low-code Salesforce solutions, including Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript.
- Skilled in data migration and dataset initiation within Salesforce.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
- Knowledge of Salesforce configuration (no-code) solutions, such as Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
- 2+ years in Agile Software Development Methodologies.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud architecture on platforms like Azure or AWS.
