Position Overview: Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support our property management operations. This role is perfect for someone with
strong organizational skills and a passion for real estate. You'll work closely with our property
manager.
Assistant Property Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day management of multifamily properties.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintain tenant and vendor relationships, handling inquiries and requests professionally.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with Leasing, including renewals and rent collection.
- Assist with financial reporting.
- Monitor and manage vendor capital improvements
- Utilize property management software for tracking and reporting.
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in property management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
- Knowledge of Fair Housing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
