CommuniCare Health Services is a world-class provider of health care services throughout 7 states and several other countries. We are currently seeking a full-time Level II Desktop Support Tech for our IT department to support our facilities in the Indiana area. This is a full-time position that will be based out of our corporate office located at 8275 Allison Pointe Trail Suite 370, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Some travel throughout the area will be required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the Setup, Repair and Deployment of laptops and desktops.
- Maintain an organized inventory of all equipment.
- Setup and deploy new printers.
- Provides end user support for software and hardware issues via support requests from telephone, email and ticketing system.
- Manage tickets in ticketing system, ServiceNow.
- Plan and execute software and patch upgrades via SCCM.
- Hardware support, including desktops, thin clients, laptops, iPads, iPhones, android devices, printers, multi-function copiers, multimedia equipment and wireless devices.
- Perform routine maintenance on all end-users’ computers as required.
- Advise the IS department on product problems identified through technical support calls with end users.
- Works closely with the other IT Staff to develop and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Assists in final testing of new products.
- Setup and deploy all equipment orders for shipment to end users.
- Provide assistance in maintaining IT asset inventory.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- ServiceNow Admin experience required, minimum of 2 years.
- Cyber security experience preferred.
- At least three years’ experience in a Technical Support field, troubleshooting hardware/software problems.
- At least two years’ experience in a LAN/WAN environment with an understanding of network design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
- ServiceNow experience would be beneficial.
- ManageEngine and/or Nexthink experience would also be beneficial.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
- Highly developed communication skills.
- The ability to explain technical procedures in layperson’s terms.
- Interpersonal skills requiring a maximum in courtesy, etiquette and tact, in order to deal effectively with all levels of management, staff, and outside vendors.
- Ability to work independently -- candidate must be a "self-starter".
- Reliable transportation.
- Technical Certifications a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM or MDM solution a plus.
