Our client is seeking a Director of Business Analytics & Innovation in Littleton, MA.
Role Description
Position Summary:
The Director of Business Analytics & Innovation will be responsible for the development of business analytics, digital, intelligence, technology, and innovation strategies for the company. Responsibilities will include defining and executing strategy, driving programs, projects, and processes, managing a team of Business Analysts, and contributing to the overall business results by identifying strategic, technology, and efficiency opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Establishes, complies with, enforces, and actively promotes all corporate safety policies and procedures in addition to ensuring adherence to our number one core value – Safety first in all we do.
• Develop and implement a company-wide business intelligence framework.
• Oversee the development and deployment of data analytics tools and platforms.
• Direct the activities of the analytics team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of business insights to drive strategic business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and quality
• Stay current on industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
• Develop and implement a technology and innovation strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, team member and client feedback, and conduct research and development to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and processes to save money, increase efficiency, and promote our ability to compete and stay relevant.
• Work closely with various company stakeholders to identify business needs and drive continuous improvement of metrics tracking, information flow and management, business process improvement, and organizational planning.
• Report on business analytics and innovation activities, progress, and ROI to the General Manager and other stakeholders.
• Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the corporation, or as otherwise directed
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business analytics and innovation leadership roles managing projects, delivering solutions, implementing technology initiatives, and driving change management.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining techniques, predictive modeling, and business forecasting.
• Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with various technologies (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and a willingness to dive into technical details when necessary.
• Advanced degree in computer science, data management, finance, statistics, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience, preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry, preferred.
