Job Title: Battery Hardware Test Engineer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Cupertino, CA
Pay Rate: $55 to $63/hr.

Job Summary
In this role you will apply your skills as a test engineer to perform testing execution in coordination with other test engineers and technicians to validate battery packs for next generation consumer electronics. You will work with multi-functional teams to complete tests and analyze data across various validation nodes using scripting and other post processing solutions.
Key qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering
- Understanding of EE bench test equipment and use and appropriate application.
- (Oscilloscopes, meters, data-loggers, power supplies, etc.)
- Excellent data processing skills using python or other languages with direct experience preferred
- Highly experienced in a lab setting, bringing a can-do attitude with a willingness to take ownership and drive results.
- Relies on data to support technical decisions and ability to clearly explain technical issues.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Possess a high level of attention to details.
Description
- Complete battery EE level tests and provide accurate result report.
- Design scripts for post processing of various kinds of test data across multiple validation nodes
- Evaluate automated testing system code and debug it to ensure its robustness and support for future programs.
- Reviews BMU schematics and layout to verify conformance and to determine testability.
- Conducts investigations and prepares reports to support investigations.
- Running complex test setups using high accuracy test equipment.
Education
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
