Position Overview:
The client company is seeking a capable and motivated Intake Specialist to join their team. This is a critical role in their intake sales structure, where you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, assisting clients, and facilitating the intake process. Three major components of this role are technical aptitude, legal exposure, and administrative experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal intake and will thrive in a startup environment. This position has the potential to promote into a Supervisory role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to client inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Utilize their specially built platform and CRM to streamline the intake process.
- Collaborate with the intake team to efficiently move consumers through the intake funnel.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case information.
- Ensure at least three closings (or "matches") between consumers and attorneys per hour--don't worry, these are easy sales!
- Support marketing efforts by effectively communicating our services and options to potential clients.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in legal intake or related administrative roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with Case Management software or CRM systems is a plus, but training will be provided.
- Have a STRONG technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly and efficiently.
- Must be located in or near Birmingham, AL (the training hub), with potential for future opportunities in Atlanta.
Compensation:
- Initial hourly rate: $20.00-25.00+/hr, based on experience.
- Performance-based compensation model with potential to earn up over $55,000 annually once well established full time! This position is set up to grow as your closings grow--uncapped!
- Pay increase if promoted into Supervisory role!
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:30pm, but can work until 3:00 or 4:00pm as needed, with some weekend availability as needed in the foreseeable future.
- Initial training period will be in person, the goal is to move to hybrid work in the near future once well established in the role.
