We are looking for a Sales and Showroom Assistant for a top home goods company in New York, NY!
Responsibilities:
- Report to Director of Sales
- Prepare for sales meetings-generate all visuals and documents needed for buyers
- Work on sales templates to generate customer purchase orders
- Visual merchandising – set up new samples in showroom display needed for meetings
- Maintain buyer calendar and confirmations of meetings
- Assist sales team for any and all needs
- Greet buyers and maintain showroom
- Communicate with overseas team
- Growth potential for account executive
- Assist sales team with all follow up requirements for buyers
- Must have good communication skills along with outlook and excel skills
- Assist in preparing for buyer meetings and setting up focused product displays
- Organizing and maintaining sales records by retailer/dept.
Required Qualifications:
- Two+ years of sales experience either in a showroom, on the road and/or trade show format
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Good at Multi-tasking
