Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiatives which describes what’s being done?
The Customer Profile Product team will build and centralize customer profile and preference data in a unified data platform where information is synchronized for the purpose of operational and analytics use across the bank’s application systems and channels.
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
• Experience in batch & real time data processing using Scala, Spark , Kafka & Cassandra.
• Exposure to Hadoop, Hive DB, Unix Shell scripting, Relational Database & using the DevOps tools.
• Experience in using the IDEs to build the applications with Java or Scala or Python.
• Should have good communication skills to co-ordinate with different teams and update the stake holders with any blockers.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may hinder the success of projects.
• Experience in Cloud native development in Azure is preferred (or AWS or GCP).
What skills/technologies are required?
5 to 8 years hands on experience in things like:
o Spark /PySpark
o Kafka
o NoSQL databased (Casandra / Mongo DB etc)
o Azure cloud CI/CD and Azure Synapse.
What skills/attributes are preferred?
o Primary Skill Set: Spark, Scala, Python, Cassandra, Kafka, Hive DB & Airflow
o Secondary Skill Set: DevOps (Jenkins, Rancher, Schedule Jobs), Azure
