eLearning Designer / Trainer
Location – Chesterfield, MO – onsite 1-2 days a week (most of team is Tues/Wed)
Requirements
A blend of designer and technical training.
Must have Articulate Storyline OR Adobe Captivate – will be moving about 300-400 assignments from Captivate to Storyline
Fluent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Takes initiative and is accountable
Multiple projects coming down the pipe and will vary.
They will partner with a subsidiary within the company that provides the content
This manager is absolutely AWESOME to work (zero micro managing) for and the team is super collaborative, supportive, and encouraging - they offer e-learning course projects
Must be willing to learn and adapt to new ways of writing – if someone is stuck in their way or process, this will not be the team for them
Communication to Management is KEY – don’t wait to be asked for statuses, be proactive and totally honest about what can be delivered
Preferred/Bonus skills – not required
3+ years experience developing, deploying and facilitating training in various mediums within a business environment
Multi-media instructional design and delivery background
Camtasia
Articulate 360 Suite (Rise)
MS Office, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint
Intermediate SQL skills – not used often
Must be flexible and adaptive to change
Basic experience designing learning materials and managing projects
Basic development skills using e-learning tools
Ability to translate needs/processes into replicable training materials for delivery

Position Overview
Extensive background in design and procedure documentation.
The learning solutions designer/trainer deliver training programs that meet employee learning needs by producing uniform and consistently designed instructor-led, stand-alone, and eLearning training courses and documentation.
Communicate system changes and update documentation accordingly.
Serve as a key training resource and consultant for Global Operations by designing, developing, and delivering requested learning solutions.
Responsible
Deliver training and education programs that improve job skills and prepare employees to leverage company’s systems using proven platform and one-on-one techniques.
Facilitate participation in learning programs, employing accepted adult learning methodologies.
Interview Subject Matter Experts (SME) to determine business-specific aspects of systems and work with SME’s to design training programs, including learning objectives, handouts, job aids, user manuals, technical communications, and resource materials that are pertinent to content being delivered.
Collaborate with Business Units to develop and maintain end-user documentation for system changes/enhancements that support accepted processes and procedures while increasing employee productivity and accuracy.
Design and conduct pre and post-course assessments as appropriate, demonstrating that knowledge or skill transfer improvements meet or exceed stated objectives.
Consult with Business Units to identify learning based solution needs. Deliver learning solution, assess job improvements following delivery, and modify programs accordingly based on job improvements and post-course evaluations.
