Application Support Analyst
$120-130k base + bonus
Foreign investment bank seeks a Murex Application Support Analyst. The ideal candidate must have functional and technical knowledge of Bonds and Credit market. Daily IT support of Murex application, working in the front-office, project management and development. Interpersonal skills are required as there is constant interaction with Front office and other departments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop business requirements
- Manage day-to-day application / user support group
- Lead / assist in module testing / integration efforts
- Support firm compliance process
Required Skills:
- Strong Functional knowledge of financial markets
- Knowledge of Murex, murex workflow, datamart, etradepad, simulation
- Strong In-depth knowledge (functional and technical) of TRACE
- Pre- trade workflow knowledge
- Knowledge of Bonds and Credit Market
- Knowledge of Unix platform
- Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organization skills
Qualification:
- BS or higher degree in CS, MIS, EE, Mathematics or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in financial market support role
- Experience in working with FO users
