Amotec is currently supporting a search for a Sales Engineer. Located near Hudson, OH, our client is a growing industrial manufacturing company. As the Sales Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise in glass manufacturing to meet the needs of customers. Previous glass manufacturing experience is required for this role.
Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Consult with customers on selecting and utilizing combustion equipment tailored to glass manufacturing processes.
- Serve as a technical liaison to sales agents and customers, ensuring a thorough understanding of oxy-fuel systems, heat transfer, and combustion chemistry.
- Prepare proposals, including component selection, pricing analysis, and project timelines.
- Travel to customer sites for equipment installation and system commissioning.
- Participate in training and stay updated on industry developments.
Technical Sales Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience with glass manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects.
