Opportunity Snapshot:
- Compensation: $60.00/hour
- Location: Dallas, TX (flexible to any location with a Client office as long as willing to travel)
- Assignment Duration: 12 months +
- Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required or similar Technical degree is required
- A minimum of Ten (10) years of progressive work experience in an applicable engineering discipline is required
- Knowledge of E2G standards is preferred
- Engineering management experience is preferred
- A strong understanding of pipeline and distribution terminal processes and the elements of safe and efficient operation of hazardous liquid and gas pipelines and associated facilities would be helpful
- Experience working in multi-discipline engineering teams is preferred
- Professional Engineer registration is preferred
- Ability to maintain approximately 20% travel
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and drive to completion the review and updating of Client suite of Engineering Standards
- Apply knowledge of pipeline and terminal design concepts, operating principles, and relevant industry standards to coordinate the review of LEP’s
- Apply knowledge of ASME B31.4/B31.4/B31.8, 49 CFR, Part 195 and Part 192, NFP 30, and relevant API Standards and Recommended Practices to the review and revision of LEP’s
- Ensure LEP’s are compliant with ASME B31.4/B31.4/B31.8, 49 CFR, Part 195 and Part 192, NFP 30, and relevant API Standards and Recommended Practices
- Apply knowledge of industry best practices to the LEP’s
- Coordinate review efforts of SME’s of various disciplines to the LEP’s
- Apply knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and construction practices
- Develop work flows and recommends teams to review standards
- Ensure the review process is thorough and timely
- Act as custodian of the review process from initial review to final revision for each LEP

Client Overview:
Our Client is a Fortune 500 company and an independent petroleum refiner that focuses primarily on producing high-value light products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products and specialty and modified asphalt. They own and operate several refineries located primarily in Southwestern United States and market their products to this area, as well as the Rocky Mountains, extending into the Pacific Northwest and other neighboring Plains states.
