Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates to support competitive bidding for federal construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors and suppliyers
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
- Identify and provide new and alternative resources to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in bid estimating, preferably for federal construction projects.
- Proven experience in bid estimating, preferably for federal construction projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required (mostly site visit)
