We are excited to be working with the opening of a luxury private members' club that is set to debut on Madison Avenue in New York City within a historic location, offering a unique experience in luxury and exclusivity.
Spanning two stories and 12,000 square feet, the club is poised to be an opulent retreat catering to high-profile clientele including royals, billionaires, and celebrities.The club will feature various dining concepts, including an exceptional Mediterranean fine dining restaurant and an upscale bar, offering a more gourmet dining and casual sophisticated concept.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of culinary excellence.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute innovative Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation, upholding the club's distinguished reputation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with the purchasing team for optimal stock levels.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates with creative input.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in luxury or fine dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine with a flair for innovative culinary techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for team development.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience working in exclusive or private members' clubs is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
