Our client is an elite boutique firm with a strong reputation in Los Angeles. They are seeking a Senior Permitting Expeditor to join their team. The ideal candidate must be local to Culver City area and open to full time in office. If you have a book of business, that would be a PLUS!
5+ years knowledge of the planning, developing, and construction landscape of Los Angeles. This person will be active in business development and lead permitting projects from inception to completion by establishing project schedules and budget management & working with accounts receivable and contract management.
Advanced skills in expediting of building permits while maintaining strong relationships with city officials & plan-check engineers in related jurisdictions, government advocacy & affairs. Someone with a go getter mentality that will be quick in response to the needs of clients and staff will be a great fit for this amazing opportunity!
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in Project management, the City of Los Angeles Building & Safety, Building Permits with City of Los Angeles and City of Los Angeles Permitting is a MUST.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
- Strong leadership skills
