Job Summary: The Workday Integration Software Development Eng Principal (Principal level) uses broad expertise in resolving unique software development engineering applications issues. Is an individual contributor level that does not lead other employees or teams.
Responsibilities as a Workday Software Development Engineer, you can look forward to:
• Designing, developing, and deploying system configuration and system enhancements
• Collaborating with IT and HR for the identification and resolution of issues, evaluating potential system enhancements, upgrades, and/or system conversions as part of project
• Designing and executing report writing functions by creating custom reports (i.e. composite, matrix, BIRT, and dashboards) and modifying Workday delivered reports with the ability to create calculated fields leveraging business objects
• Performing analysis into the root cause of problems and resolve as appropriate during project development
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining user procedures, guidelines, and business processes documentation
• Creating and managing processes to support Client, ESS, and HR data entry to preserve integrity and accuracy
