Position: Non-Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal Assistant

Job Summary:
Our client, a boutique law firm in Carlsbad, is seeking a motivated, organized, and positive individual to join their team as a Legal Administrative Assistant. This full-time, onsite role supports lead Paralegals in the Non-Judicial Foreclosure Department with various tasks in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent communication, organizational skills, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Non-Judicial Foreclosure actions, including preparing and recording liens and Notices of Default.
- Review and update delinquent owner's accounting ledgers, calculating late fees and interest charges.
- Prepare, review, and finalize demand letters.
- Perform title searches and online research.
- Use billing and calendaring systems.
- Research potential active bankruptcy cases.
- Prepare and transmit documents for recording.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a law firm, banking institution, accounting, or collections firm preferred.
- High school diploma required; Paralegal Certificate highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
