Civil Engineer II
OSEH Inc. is currently looking for a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Chicago, Illinois.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related
- Must be an EIT with 3-5+ years of experience in the transportation engineering marketplace
- Must be local to the Chicagoland area.
- Working knowledge of industry safety standards, guidelines, and specification codes
- Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
- Must have experience with CADD/Design software (MicroStation/Openroads and AutoCAD/Civil 3D)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, review, and assist with the production of design plans, schedules, reports, calculations, estimates and specifications for consistency with work scope.
- Assignments will include Pedestrian Safety Reviews, Roadway plan and profiles, Drainage plans, Maintenance of Traffic Plans, Pavement marking/signage plans, and more.
- QA/QC: Perform quality control procedures at different project milestones to ensure submitted plans and documents adhere to standards, specifications, codes, and client requirements.
- Other duties as assigned
