Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of heavy civil projects ranging from $5M to $100M.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with field teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and ensure that all projects meet local, state, and federal compliance standards.
- Oversee change orders, submittals, RFIs, and documentation to maintain project efficiency and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform regular site visits to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and adjust project plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Proven track record managing large infrastructure projects such as bridges, highways, or other heavy civil work.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.), and cost management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
